Presidential Stand-By

So yesterday we did standby at the Holmdel Public Works garage for the Presidential Visit to the PNC Arts Center. It was a very long day, and fortunately our services were not needed. But we were ready, just in case...even though our esteemed Governor raided our training fund....The one thing that impressed me was our hosts. The folks from Holmdel could not have been nicer...they made a point of showing their appreciation for us being there. It reinforced (for me anyway) the need for maintaining a public image.
